After best interest meeting with the Crisis Committee, I would like to announce that,

the election of officers for the Hull Filipino Community will resume.

To all my Kababayans(dear members of the Hull Filipino Community),

Due to unforseen circumstances, I would like to announce, THE ELECTION OF OFFICERS IS POSTPONED till further notice! Most of the nominees have declined, and the worst is the post for the President was vacated. No organization exists without a leader.
We MUST have a President, for us to continue the existence of The Hull Filipino Community. For personal reasons, I have to step down.

HFC 2010 ELECTION : IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER

As agreed upon during the recently concluded meeting, The HFC Electoral Board for 2010 is announcing informations and important dates to remember for the HFC Election of Officers for the year 2010-2011.

25^th June to 10^th of July 2010 - Period for Filing of candidacy either by post or email by any HFC member who wishes to run in the HFC 2010 Election.

-same period given to HFC members to submit their nominees for the various positions, (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, PRO1, PRO2, PRO3), in the HFC 2010 Election.

11^th July 2010 - Publishing of the list of the Top four (4) nominees in each of the positions.

15^th July 2010 - Deadline for the nominees to accept/decline the nominations.

16^th July 2010 - Final Listing of the Names of the Candidates for the HFC 2010 Election.

25^th July 2010(as amended) - HFC Election day, Sunday at The Village Hall (beside St. WILFRIDS Parish Church, Boulevard) From 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm

FAQS:

Mode of Voting? In person at the voting station, by sealed envelopes or thru email at hullfilcom@yahoo.co.uk

Who can vote? -HFC members aged 17 years old and above.

Who can run for the Posts? -Any HFC member 17 years and above, may run except for the Presidency, which has a 25 yr. old minimum age requirement.

-Incumbent Elected Officers are barred from running while appointed Officers may do so.
